Avcılar Web Design and Software Companies: Sites Built Around Ambarlı Port

On a forwarder's site the tracking box gets the clicks; on a customs broker's site it is the document list. Here is what each Avcılar business actually needs.

In short: Avcılar's economy faces Ambarlı port. For forwarders we build shipment status, for customs brokers a document guide, for Firuzköy workshops a certificate and tonnage list — three jobs that do not fit one website.

Business life in Avcılar and why a website matters

The district's centre of gravity is the bay at Ambarlı. The Marport, Kumport, Mardaş and Akçansa facilities sit along the same shoreline, handling containers, bulk cargo and ro-ro traffic together. Around that movement a service economy has grown in its own right: freight forwarders, customs brokers, bonded warehouse operators, technical services maintaining port equipment.

On the Firuzköy side the scale drops. CNC machining, welded fabrication, assembly and technical service workshops sit there, and part of their workload comes from the port itself. Along the E-5 highway, Avcılar Merkez and Denizköşkler are retail and services — with a concentration of student-facing businesses, because the Avcılar campus of Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa is here.

The district also has a line of work that is specific to it: building renewal. Avcılar took the heaviest damage in Istanbul in the 1999 earthquake, and risk assessment, strengthening and reconstruction still put contractors, structural engineers and soil survey firms around the same table.

What Avcılar businesses need from custom web software

Freight forwarders

Most callers want information rather than a price: where is my cargo. When we put a status box on the home page, queried by booking or container number, that is where most of the clicks go — not to the services page. Where the carrier's own service is closed or chargeable, we build a five-line status record fed from your own operations file: loaded, vessel departed, estimated arrival, in customs, delivered. On the rate request form the loading port, destination port, container type and commodity are mandatory fields; without all four, quoting spreads over two rounds of email.

Customs brokers

On these sites the most-read page is not the service description but the document list. Which papers are required for export and for import, which come from the chamber and which from a notary, how long each takes. A manufacturer exporting for the first time reads that page and calls afterwards. Second comes authorisation: which customs offices you work through, whether you act as direct or indirect representative, whether you hold authorised economic operator status.

Welded fabrication and site installation

Work for the Firuzköy workshops usually finishes on site, and buyers ask two things: do you have certified welders, and which procedure do you weld to. The page carries the number of certificates, the welding processes you work with, and whether you send crews out. Listing delivered jobs by tonnage and duration brings in more enquiries than a picture catalogue does.

Building renewal and contracting

Here the decision is not made by one company but by the owners of twenty flats in a building. Twenty people read the same page and argue among themselves. So the page's job is not to persuade but to set out the sequence: how risk assessment works, how many days there are to object, when the rent allowance starts, how entitlement is calculated. Completed buildings are shown by image and year of handover, without the street address.

All four need the page to open on a phone. Nobody opens a desktop computer at a port yard, at a loading bay, or in a residents' meeting.

Why OSBSA Bilişim

Fast infrastructure

We build with Next.js; pages are rendered on the server and images are generated at the sizes the layout uses. Measured on our own site, PageSpeed Insights reports 86 on mobile and 97 on desktop, with 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO. Those figures were measured. Coverage around the port is patchy, so a heavy page means enquiries you simply never see.

Custom code, not a template

A container status box bolted onto an off-the-shelf theme breaks at every update. We write each project as its own software, with the status record, the quote form fields and the document list all managed from a panel. Source code transfer and hosting arrangements are written into the contract.

SEO and GSEO ready

A single H1 on the page, and an ordered run of headings underneath it. Address, opening hours and services are marked up as structured data, and where your correspondence runs in English, hreflang is set up properly. Each section opens with one clear paragraph so AI-driven search has something to quote, and the site ships an llms.txt file.

Reliability and support

The scope is written out item by item in the quote, and work begins after the contract. Backups run from handover and form data is kept in line with Turkish data protection law. Support runs weekdays 11:00–22:00; one number for both phone and WhatsApp: 0532 468 76 13.

Frequently asked questions

Does the tracking box connect to the carrier's system?

If the carrier's service is open, yes. On many lines it is closed or paid, and then we build a status record fed from your own operations file: your staff enter the daily status in the panel and the client sees it by booking number. We do not present live vessel position, and we say so on the page so nobody waits for it.

Freight rates change daily. How do we show prices?

You don't. The work goes into the quote form instead: loading and destination port, container type, commodity, estimated loading week. With those four filled in, operations can price in a single round. Cutting even one round out of your current process pays for the site on its own.

What does a site with shipment status cost?

The scope decides: how many pages, whether status tracking is included, whether there are integrations, who writes the content. We don't quote over the phone. We establish the requirement and send a written quote in which every inclusion is listed.

Once we know your line of work and how clients find you today, the requirement becomes clear quickly. We have also told a neighbourhood shop that a map listing would serve it better than a website.

Use the quote form or write through contact. One number, 0532 468 76 13, serves both calls and WhatsApp. In the meeting we bring up work from the same kind of operation, and completed projects are listed under our work.
