Şile Web Design and Software Companies: Sites That Earn a Year in Three Months

Şile doubles at weekends and passes 100,000 residents in summer. Guesthouses, restaurants and weaving workshops all need sites built around that calendar.

In short: Şile's registered population is around 49,000, but summer second homes push it past 100,000. Businesses here need a site that gathers bookings in a short season and stays findable through the rest of the year.

Business life in Şile and why a website matters

To understand commerce in Şile you look at the calendar first. The registered population in 2024 was 48,936; at weekends and especially in summer, second homes and holiday houses take it past 100,000. Across a district of 62 neighbourhoods that means businesses compress a year's trade into a few months. Tourism is the main source of income, and the reason is the coast: a 10-kilometre beach at the centre and some 60 kilometres of Black Sea shoreline in total.

The second axis is handmade production, and this is Şile's most distinctive feature. Şile cloth is the first and only product from Istanbul to carry a protected geographical indication. The weaving tradition survives in a small number of families and workshops; a cooperative project coordinated by the municipality, with Yeditepe University, FMV Işık University and the district public education centre as partners, received a 2.3 million lira grant from the Istanbul development agency. It planned four workshops — one central, three in villages — and a 256-hour weaving course. A Şile cloth culture and arts festival each July turns on the same tradition.

The third is rural production and construction. Villages produce milk, honey, preserves and vegetables; along the coast, holiday-home building, refurbishment and garden work run continuously. The Şile lighthouse, built in 1860, and Şile Castle bring day visitors, which in turn feeds the restaurants and cafés.

What Şile businesses need from custom web software

Guesthouses, hotels and cabins

Where the season is short, the site exists to fill a calendar. Room or cabin types, which dates a rate covers, minimum nights, terms for pets and children, the cancellation rule. On the Black Sea coast weather-driven cancellations are routine, and writing down how they are handled cuts the in-season phone load noticeably.

The booking form should take a date range and a headcount and show which dates are gone. The decision gets made in the evening, on a phone, with five tabs open side by side; if your gallery is slow you drop off the list and nobody tells you why.

Restaurants, cafés and fish houses

Visitors want three things: the menu, whether there is a table tonight, and how to get there. Publishing the menu as a PDF is the most common mistake — awkward on a phone, tedious to update, invisible in search. The menu should be a page with prices editable from the panel. On the shore, parking information and directions get read as much as the food does, and stating the days you are closed stops a run of pointless calls.

Weaving workshops and makers

For a workshop selling Şile cloth, the site is the only channel that keeps working out of season. What persuades a buyer here is less the photograph than the production itself: which loom it was woven on, how many days a piece takes, how the metrage is calculated, how much it shrinks after washing. The geographical indication belongs plainly on the page, because that is the part nobody else can claim.

On the sales side there are two routes and the choice should be made early: selling from a basket, or taking made-to-measure orders. They are different pieces of software — one needs stock and shipping, the other a measurement form and a quote flow.

Village producers and small food businesses

For a producer selling honey, preserves, dairy or vegetables, the first thing a buyer looks for is paperwork: business registration, production licence, analysis reports where they exist. These belong as downloadable files with visible dates. On the product side, pack size, shelf life and storage conditions should be written out, and if you ship, say to which provinces and within how many days.

Why OSBSA Bilişim

Fast infrastructure

We work with Next.js; most pages are compiled on the server and images arrive at the size the device asks for. Our own site measures 86 on mobile and 97 on desktop in PageSpeed Insights, with accessibility, best practices and SEO at 100. In Şile there is a specific benefit: mobile coverage along the coast and in the villages is not always strong, and a light page shows there.

Custom code, not a template

An availability calendar, a made-to-measure order form or a certificate archive stacked out of plugins becomes unmaintainable by its second season. Each project is delivered with its own code and its own admin panel, so you change rates and availability yourself during the season. Source code and hosting terms are written into the contract.

SEO and GSEO ready

One H1, a clean heading structure, Organization and LocalBusiness schemas, menu and FAQ markup. In Şile people search by place name, so carrying the locality or beach name in the page title brings more visits than the district name does. For AI-driven search, each page gets one quotable paragraph.

Reliability and support

Scope and price come in a written quote and work starts with a contract. Backups and data protection compliance are in the delivery list. Support runs weekdays 11:00-22:00 on one number for calls and WhatsApp: +90 532 468 76 13.

Frequently asked questions

My season is short. Does paying for a site all year make sense?

Closing it does not. Search traffic starts well before the season; the person browsing in April books in July. The sensible approach is to spend in the right place — content and photography out of season, server capacity and support tightened during it.

Should I take bookings on the site or stay with the telephone?

Both work together. There is no need to cut off customers who ring, but putting an availability calendar on the site visibly reduces the "have you got space" calls. A calendar that collects requests without taking payment is also possible, and for small operations that is usually enough.

What does it cost?

Scope decides: whether a calendar is connected, whether you sell online, how many languages. We do not quote on the phone. We listen to the requirement and send an itemised written quote.

Let's talk about your site in Şile

If you run a business in Şile, fill in the quote form and tell us your season and where your customers come from. For calls and WhatsApp, +90 532 468 76 13; other channels are on the contact page.

We open examples from your own sector on screen during the meeting, because showing why availability sits at the very top of a guesthouse page is faster than describing it. Delivered projects are on the work page. The design side is on web design, the build on web development, and local visibility on the SEO page.
